Bio

Originally from Newfoundland, Canada, Kent Foran is a photographer and teacher based in Hong Kong. His work is focused on people and their environments, and exists in a space between street, documentary and fine art photography, with an emphasis on the odd and the inexplicable within the everyday. His work has appeared in many international publications, and he has had two large solo exhibitions in Hong Kong, and curated another. Currently, three pieces are on display at the Seattle Centre on Contemporary Art as part of their show on contemporary Asian art, and he was selected in early 2015 as one of Hong Kong’s ten best emerging photographers by DRKRMS Media.
